"Sir
I am presuming on the honor which I have in being a Norfolk man to solicit your influence in favor of my gallant friend Sir Thomas Trowbridge who means to offer himself as a candidate to represent the Borough of Yarmouth. If you grant me this favor it will ever lay under an obligation.
Dear Sir - your most obedient servant, - Nelson & Bronte"
